Dancing In The Sunlight |Emma+Scott|

Updated: Jan 26, 2021

How stinking cute are these two?!

Emma and Scott reached out to me for a couples session in one of my favorite locations not far from my home town, and I was over the moon when they did. This was around the time of their one year anniversary so it was a special one to say the least! I know Emma from mutual friends and she is always such a sweet soul to be around. I wanted this session to be everything they hoped for and more!

The lighting was PERFECT, the vibe was set, and these two love birds made a simple photo session so much fun. We laughed a ton, smiled a little more, and they danced their way through the sunlight. Here's their love story straight from the source:

Their Story

"Scott and I had always kind of known who each other were. He was three years older than me and had worked at the gas station right next to my house, so I kind of always knew who he was. It wasn’t until 2019, we officially met! He was in town from school, and it was just another Saturday night at The Landing, a local bar where we're from. With the help of some liquid courage, we talked and hung out all night!

The next day I had to work, so him and his friend came to see me. A few days later we went on our first real date to Orange Leaf. He picked me up from my house and everything! I went to Texas on a trip with my mom and we were texting the whole time. He invited me to be his date to a wedding, and obviously I said yes! I was so nervous, it was his high school friends wedding, a big name in this town and everyone was going to be there, including his parents. I was so giddy and nervous at the same time and it was honestly the best night ever! That night he officially asked me to be his girl, September 21st to be exact (easy to remember because of the song by Earth, Wind and Fire)

The rest is history :)

For real, my parents love him like their own, and his parents the same! Family functions are never a dull moment, getting close to his family has been so fun and I love them all so much. We have been long distance for what feels like forever, now living within an hour from each other is such a treat! Even though we have very busy schedules, we make time for each other as much as possible.

He is my best friend, my first true love, and my rock."

*I'm not crying, you are🥺*

I had the most fun with Emma and Scott and getting to run around chasing the sunset with them was a serious dream. Check out their photos below!

Kind Words from the client

"I had asked Diamond to take our photos around our 1 year of being together, and I was so nervous!!! I knew diamond briefly through a mutual friend, and I didn’t know how Scott would react when I told him he had to do this with me. The whole session was so amazing!!! We had so fun, she made us feel so comfortable, and the photos turned out better than I could imagine!! I even think Scott had more fun at the shoot than I did! We got the photos in a very reasonable amount of time, she delivered our gallery while I was at work, and I literally cried from how happy I was.

She truly captured us and the photos really were authentic to our personalities and relationship. I will always cherish these as our first professional session together!

My hopes were really high and Diamond exceeded all of them!

I will forever be thankful! Thank you Diamond!!!"
